I’ve been playing wtih Google’s free 3D program SketchUp

The free version is pretty powerful for throwing together
quick 3D renderings. You can even import photographs
and use them to texture objects (distorting to fit). This
grew out of a need to create 3d objects for Google Earth (I believe).

Here’s a mockup I made, to scale, of my new room
in Harlem [or click image above].
